In Memory of Nikhil Govind Jhangiani (1966–2025)
Today we share a message that is written with profound sadness and deep respect.
Kroin AG mourns the premature passing of Nikhil Govind Jhangiani, aged 59, a dear friend, business partner, and an exceptional professional. A very rapid illness took him from us; we take some comfort in knowing that his passing was peaceful and without suffering.
Nikhil was, before anything else, a man of rare intellectual clarity. His ability to analyse complex situations with speed and precision, combined with an extraordinary international business background, made him a point of reference for all who had the privilege of working alongside him. He possessed a remarkable talent to read geopolitical and economic scenarios, anticipating shifts and interpreting markets with a depth that was never superficial and never conventional.
What we will miss deeply is not only his sharp analytical mind, but also his human presence: his friendly, charismatic and contagious laughter; his openness to dialogue; his constant readiness to engage in thoughtful, critical discussion. Nikhil was never banal. He was lucid, inquisitive, and intellectually generous. For those willing to listen — and to challenge his views — he was an inexhaustible source of insight and perspective.
You were a friend before being a great professional. Meetings with you were always meaningful, never routine. Your way of observing the market was innovative and inclusive, attentive to diverse opportunities and capable of transforming potential problems into strengths, and risks into opportunities. You had the rare gift of seeing complexity not as an obstacle, but as a space in which value could be created.
Your proverbial love for art and culture will continue to accompany us in the years ahead, as will your ability to analyse and connect diversified business segments — areas to which you dedicated your entire professional life with passion and rigour. These elements are now an integral part of the path we have built together.
We will continue to follow the course we traced during the years we were privileged to share with you. The great pain and sense of solitude we feel today is only partially eased by the many happy memories you have left us: by your sharp sense of humour, your cultural legacy, and the intellectual imprint you have indelibly marked upon us.
Thank you for everything, Nikhil. You will always remain in our hearts.
